Cut out lining
Cut out lining adding a bit extra for seams
and movement.
Tack lining to shell
Place lining wrong side to wrong side on
the shell and tack carefully.
Quilting
Quilt lining to shell using a walking foot.
Use large stitches and sew in the groove of the Tweed.
Join backs to sides
Join back and side back seams, matching
fabric pattern perfectly.
Tape front edge
Baste muslin to centre front including stay
tape as shown. Hand stitch tape to seam line.
